When making the name tag, I wanted to make sure my name could be seen from all sides. Originally wanted to make a pyramid out of 2 different colors. While I was playing with them before I put them together I noticed how they made this shape, and I liked it. Using all 4 sides, I wrote my name in my 4 favorite ways.
Then we had to include a self portrait. Since we were practicing contour drawing, I made the portrait out of only lines, leaving out the shading and detail. I think it is an interesting portrait that makes one focus on the lines and structure of my face.
